Ashgold coach Zachariassen expects more from his boys

The Norwegian trainer says his charges need to improve in the ongoing Normalization Committee Special Competition.

Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC coach Kjetil Zachariassen has admitted that his team is yet to reach the top level since his appointment.
 
The UEFA Pro Licensed coach has replaced Serbian coach Svetislav Tanasijevic who was reassigned to the club's youth side following his poor output.
 
"I can only talk about the two weeks I have been here as head coach. We are running more than ever and that has been my job. The lads have been digging hard because we want to increase the intensity of our game,” Zachariassen said.
 
“That means more running for higher intensity when we run. The players have been under two weeks of hard training and they have responded well.
 
“The game was as expected and we are not yet there when it comes to the relationship with the players but we are getting somewhere
 
Ashanti Gold SC will face Medeama SC in the match-day ten of the Normalization Committee Special Cup this afternoon.
