CK Akonnor: 'We struggled against Hearts of Oak'

The 45-year-old trainer has admitted that the Rainbow boys dominated possession in their clash on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko head coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor says his side struggled against Hearts of Oak in the semi-final of the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition.
 
The Porcupine Warrior progressed to the grand finale after beating Hearts of Oak 5-4 on penalties after the entire duration ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
 
"We struggled yesterday. Oh yes..We struggled against Hearts of Oak because they controlled the game in the entire duration of the match," Coach Akonnor told Kumasi FM
 
"They (Hearts of Oak) played very well despite watching their previous matches but they were not efficient upfront"
