NC Special Competition: Nzema Kotoko 2-1 Unistar Academy - Kotoko reach tier-2 finals

The Nzema boys have reached the final of GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition tier-2 after a win over Unistar Academy on Wednesday afternoon.

Nzema Kotoko recorded a 2-1 victory over Unistar Academy in their semi-final clash at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The Academy boys looked very dangerous in the early minutes of the match which resulted them the opener before the half-hour mark.
Ali Muftawu snatched the lead for Unistar Academy with a brilliant finish on the 26th minute of the game.
Three minutes later, Francis Atitsogbo levelled the score for the Nzema-based club as they gained possession to dominate the match.
Agyenim Boateng neatly converted a spot-kick awarded to Nzema Kotoko on the stroke of halftime to end it in a 2-1 win.
After recess, Unistar Academy dominated the match with brilliant passes and audacious long range shots.
Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the second half as the match ended in a 2-1 victory in favor of Nzema Kotoko.
