Muntari Tagoe, Abass Mohammed and others set for Kotoko exit

Reports reaching our outfit from the camp of Asante Kotoko inficates that the mangement of the club is set to release certain fringe players in their quest to build a formiddable side.

The list according to our source includes players like Muntari Tagoe, Abass Mohammed, Prince Acquah and a few others.

Tagoe, who joined  the Porcupine Warriors from Medeama SC was expected to offer Felix Annan a stern competition but the experienced goal custodian has flattered to deceive causing to him fall off the pecking order.

The situation became worse with the presence of Kwame Baah who is gradually becoming the club's number two.

Abass Mohammed was a mainstay in C.K Akonnor regime but has found it extremely difficult to grab a place in Zacchariassen's team.

The left-back lost his position to Patrick Yeboah and Evans Owusu. Plagued by injuries, it will not be surprising to see him leave the club.

Prince Acquah is also believed to be on his way out of the club as his Kotoko struggles continue .

With the presence of Justice Blay, Jordan Opoku, Arnold Didi, and Samuel Frimpong, the former Heart of Lions players could leave the club to save his dying career.
