BREAKING: Daniel Kodie is leaving Hearts of Oak

The Capital-based will be losing their midfield dynamo ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, can exclusively confirm.

Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Daniel Kodie is leaving the club following the expiration of his contract next month.
The 25-year-old has refused to extend his contract with the Rainbow boys after the club's officials contacted him over a fresh deal.
The former Liberty Professionals kingpin has been out of action for the past months after sustaining an injury during GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition.
He joined Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal from fellow Premiership club Liberty Professionals in 2016.
Kodie's current contract with the club will ran out next month.
He scored one goal in his fourteen appearances for the Phobian lads during the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League season.
Kodie has established himself as one of the highly-rated defensive midfielders in the Ghanaian top-flight league for the past three seasons.
