OFFICIAL: 2017/18 Ghana Premier League abrogated

The last season Ghana Premier League has officially been abrogated at the ongoing Ghana FA Elective Congress in Accra.

Delegates of the Ghana Football Association unanimously voted for the cancellation of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.
The 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season was truncated after the Anas Aremeyaw Anas video exposé aired in June 2018.
Sixty-four members of the Ghana Football Association seconded the motion of cancelling the last edition of the country's top-flight league.
The new Ghana Premier League season will be played with eighteen clubs after Great Olympics and King Faisal were reinstated by Congress.
The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season is expected to start next month.
