Coach Maxwell Konadu reveals why Songne Yacouba was left out for Hearts match

The head coach of the Porcupine Warriors has opened up on his decision to exclude the Burkina Faso international from his squad that whipped Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has explained why deadlocked striker Songne Yacouba was not included in the final 18-man squad for their match-day six encounter against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The 28-year-old was shockingly left out of the 'Kum Apem' lads team that travelled to beat their arch-rivals 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
"He [Songne Yacouba] was dropped because we had issues to settle with the player," Coach Konadu told reporters after the game.
"We left him because he wasn’t mentally focused.”
On Yacouba absence, Coach Koandu insisted it won't affect his team “Not really, because other players gave their all”
Yacouba has refused to extend his stay with the Kumasi-based club after several talks over a new deal.
His current contract with the club will expire in April
