Hearts' Richard Attah reveals how he turned into a goalkeeper from a winger (+VIDEO)

The in-form goalie has disclosed that he wasn't naturally gifted like goalkeepers.

Hearts of Oak shot-stopper Richard Attah has revealed how he was converted into a goalkeeper from an attacking role during his youthful days.

The 24-year-old also opened up on his readiness to honour an invitation from the technical handlers of the senior national team of Ghana.

Attah is currently one of the highly rated goalkeepers in the ongoing Ghana Premier League where he is yet to concede in Hearts of Oak's last four matches.

“Before, I was a winger who was more out wide and not too much in the penalty area,” Attah said.

“I was advised to be man the post when our goalkeepers failed to turn up for a game.” The rest is history!”

Attah joined Hearts of Oak from fellow Premiership side Elmina Sharks in December 2019.
