King Faisal to adopt Bekwai or Obuasi as new home venue

The Ghana Premier League side are set to announce a new home ground for their league matches following the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Management of King Faisal are considering to adopt Gyamfi Park in Bekwai or Obuasi Len Clay for their Ghana Premier League matches.
 
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium has been closed down temporarily for renovation works ahead of the 63rd Independence Anniversary celebration.
 
Football clubs using the edifice namely Asante Kotoko, King Faisal, Wassaman United and Asokwa Deportivo have been forced to look for a new home ground after the National Sports Authority (NSA) issued their statement on Monday.
 
Kickgh.com can exclusively report that the management of King Faisal were also considering the Sunyani Coronation Park but they have been told that that edifice has also been shut down for a major refurbishment.
 
King Faisal will be hosting Legon Cities FC in their match-day eleven encounter on Wednesday.
 
King Faisal are expected to name a new home venue for their Ghana Premier League matches by the close of day.
