VIDEO: Maxwell Konadu reacts to why Kotoko faced Aduana Stars with ten men in first half

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu failed explain reasons behind his outfit decision to face Aduana Stars with ten men in the first department of their midweek clash on Wednesday.

It was an unusual scene at the Nana Agyemang Park in Dormaa as Aduana Stars and Asante played their first half of their match-day eleven encounter with ten players.

"I can't explain it" Konadu said

According reports at the Stadium, two players from the two Ghana Premier League sides namely Farouk Adams of Aduana Stars and Kotoko's Martin Antwi refused to feature for their respective clubs in the first half.

Prior to kickoff the two abovementioned players complained of sustaining knocks which required treatment by their medical team.

Both players refused to return to the turf after receiving treatment which has been reportedly borne out of superstition and directives from their 'Juju' men ahead of the match.

Surprisingly, the two players returned to play for their clubs in the second department of the match.

A 93rd minute goal scored by Samuel Bioh handed Aduana Stars all the needed points.
