Francis Oti Akenteng, a former Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has called for a revaluation of benefits being provided to comrade's of the Black Stars Management Committee.

Oti Akenteng made these comments when he appeared before the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Culture, and Tourism, where he talked about various football related issues in Ghana.

Each member of the Management Committee were paid $100,000 following Ghana taking part in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, even though the team suffered an early elimination from the continental showpiece.

If you look at some of their roles, it’s not bad except that you cannot be paying everybody like we are hearing like I’m hearing that some people took $100,000 for being a member of the management committee," Oti Akenteng stated.

"Probably the person attended meeting once or twice but he is a member of the Black Stars Management Committee. They are working, they must be remunerated but not to that extent."
