The vision was unveiled during a meeting with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council in a crunchy meeting held on November 27, 2024.
In a statement released by the GFA on Friday, the meeting was characterized as "open and candid".
During the meeting, Addo presented a detailed 56-page technical report, which thoroughly analyzed the team's disappointing failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to the GFA statement, “Coach Otto Addo identified key areas for improvement and outlined his vision for building a robust and cohesive system.
This system would prioritize discipline, accountability, and trust among players and staff, while also emphasizing a clear and recognizable playing philosophy.”
The council's response to Addo's presentation was mixed, with some members calling for his dismissal while others advocated for his retention.
The GFA has pledged to work closely with key stakeholders to develop a thorough plan, focused on revitalizing the team's past glory.
