On Sunday afternoon, Hearts of Oak dropped points for the third time this season as they settled for a goalless draw at Nations FC.

The two sides had few chances between them, even though Nations FC had the upper hand in the second half following the introduction of some of their new signings.

After the match, Hearts of Oak striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie admitted the draw was a true reflection of the match - considering the action on the pitch.

“I’m a former player of Nations, so some of the fans booed me while others encouraged me but it’s all part of the game. Both sides performed well so I believe it’s a fair result” said the 27-year-old.

Asamoah Boateng Afriyie made the switch to the Phobians in the off-season transfer window from Nations FC.

Hearts of Oak, who were out in search of their second win of the season which painfully did not come to pass - will next face sore-faced' Aduana Stars, who are yet to win a match after four rounds of matches into the season.

On the other hand, Nations FC will travel to Tema to neck-it-down with Dreams FC in a MatchDay Five fixture.
