According to French portal Le10sport, Stade Rennais have completed personal terms with the player having already met his asking price of €12m from Valladolid.

The report further claimed that a deal between the representative of the youngster Mata Senior and Rennes is yet to be reached between both parties as that has been the only stumbling block of Mata's client imminent move to the Roazhon park.

English Premier League side Southampton has been touted as the likely destination of Salisu but securing a work permit in England will prove an headache for the budding talent and his representatives due to national team quota, hence settling on the French side.
