Ghana's Ethan Ampadu scores to help Chelsea progress in UEFA Youth League

The Welsh-born of Ghanaian descent was on score sheet for Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday evening.
 
Young defender Ethan Ampadu scored as Chelsea U19 whipped Feyenoord U19 in the quarter-finals of the competition.
 
Chelsea have qualified to the next round of the competition following their 5-2 win over Feyenoord U17 at Aldershot Recreation Park.
 
The 17-year-old opened the floodgate for the Blues lads with a powerful header in the 10th minute of the game.
 
Other goals from Daishawn Redan, Harvey S. Clair and own goals from Lutsharel Geertruida and Boyd Reith propelled Chelsea to victory. 
 
Whiles Achraf El Bouchataoui and Noah Lewis grabbed the consolation goals for Feyenoord.
 
Chelsea will now face Real Madrid in the next round of the competition.
 
The young guardsman was substituted in the 46th minute of the game whilst Callum Hudson-Odoi enjoyed the entire duration of the match.
 
Ampadu is eligible to feature for either Ireland, England, Ghana or Wales at the senior level despite playing for the Welsh youth side.
