MAJESTIC Joseph Paintsil signs for Belgian giants KRC Genk

The former Ghana U20 forward has completed his switch to the Belgian giants, can exclusively confirm.
Belgian Jupiler League side KRC Genk have announced the signing of Ghana youth star Joseph Paintsil in the ongoing transfer window.
The 20-year-old penned down a four-year deal with a year option of renewal from his parent club Tema Youth SC.
He spent last season in the Hungarian top-flight league with Ferencvarosi TC where he managed to score 10 goals with 7 assists in his twenty-seven game outings.
The club's official statement reads "He signs a contract for 4 years + 1 year option in the Luminus Arena."
"Paintsil is an arrow-fast flank attacker that can also be used centrally. Joseph is seen as the revelation of the Hungarian competition, and could count on the interest of various top clubs."
"In his 27 games for Ferencvarosi last season, he scored no less than 10 times and gave 7 assists."
"Joseph successfully completed his medical tests last weekend. He joins the team at the start of the preparation."
He was being chased by several clubs in Europe including FC Basel, Anderlecht, Austria Wien and FC Koln following his explosive debut season at Ferencvarosi TC.
KRC Genk already have Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo in their folds.
Paintsil is yet to earn a call-up to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
