MAGICAL Latif Blessing's late goal send Los Angeles to US Open Cup quarter-finals

Ghanaian forward Latif Atta Blessing scored the match-winner for Los Angeles FC in their victory over Sacramento Republic FC in the US Open Cup on Thursday morning.
Los Angeles FC inflicted a 3-2 defeat on Sacramento Republic FC to  progress to the quarters of the 2018 US Open Cup at the Banc of California Stadium.
The visitors opened the score in the 35th minute through Elliott Hord before Benny Feilhaber netted the equaliser in the 58th minute of the game.
Two minutes later, Sacramento Republic restored the lead through Vilyan Bijev but Diego Rossi made it 2-2 in the 67th minute of the game.
The Ghana international powered the Los Angeles based club to victory with his superb finish in the 89th minute of the game.
He enjoyed the full duration of the match with a superlative performance.
The 21-year-old won the US Open Cup last season with Sporting Kansas City.
Blessing has registered three (3) goals in his 15 appearances for Los Angeles FC in his maiden season at the club.
