Thomas Abbey joins Malaysian club PKNP FC

The 2017 WAFU Cup gold medalist has completed his switch to the Malaysian Super League club, Kickgh.com can reveal.

Former Accra Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey has officially joined PKNP FC after a successful trial.

The 25-year-old signed a contract with the Ipoh-based club after undergoing a successful month trial.

He was without a club after terminating his contract with Egyptian side Ismaily SC in July this year.

He becomes the second Ghanaian footballer to join PKNP FC after former Berekum Chelsea striker Alfred Okai Quaye.

Abbey was a member of the Black Stars 'B' Squad that clinched the 2017 WAFU Cup held in Ghana.
