Latif Blessing provides assist in Los Angeles FC away draw

Ghanaian winger Latif Atta Blessing helped Los Angeles FC to extend their unbeaten run in the 2019 Major League Soccer season with an assist.

Los Angeles FC managed to hold New York City FC in the match day three of the American top-flight league at the Yankee Stadium.

The 22-year-old set-up the equalizer scored by Carlos Vela on the stroke of halftime after Alexandru Mitrita has opened the score on the 39th minute.

Back from the break, Alexander Ring restored the lead for the home side on the 62nd minute of the game before a 76th minute penalty awarded to Los Angeles FC was neatly converted by Carlos Vela.

The former Liberty Professionals talisman lasted for the entire duration of the match whiles his compatriot Ebenezer Ofori played 46 minutes.

Blessing has made three appearances for Los Angeles FC in their 2019 MLS campaign.
