BREAKING: Black Stars defender Joseph Aidoo joins La Liga club Celta de Vigo

The Black Stars center-back has completed his switch to the Spanish first-tier club in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo has officially joined Spanish La Liga Santander side Celta de Vigo from KRC Genk.
The 23-year-old has joined the Sky Blues lads on a five-year deal from Belgium Premier League champions KRC Genk.
The club's official statement reads "The RC Celta signs illusion, solidity, quality and speed for its defense. "
"The Ghanaian central Joseph Aidoo will be a player of the celestial club for the next five seasons after the agreement reached with the footballer and his club of origin, the Belgian Genk."
The former Inter Allies captain inked the deal with the Spanish club after passing a mandatory medical test earlier today.
He was a member of the Black Stars squad that suffered a round of 16 elimination from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Aidoo has capped twice for the senior national team of Ghana.
