EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian defender Claud Adjapong to complete Hellas Verona today

The Italian Seria A side have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona over the transfer of the Italian-born of Ghanaian descent.

Italian-born Ghanaian defender Claud Adjapong will be completing his loan switch to Italian top-flight side Hellas Verona from US Sassuolo today, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
 
The 21-year-old will undergo a mandatory medical test at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi before inking the deal.
 
The Newly-promoted Italian Serie A side is landing the budding talented right-back to beef up their squad for the new season which starts this weekend.
 
He is joining Hellas Verona due to lack of regular playing time at US Sassuolo where he made only five appearances with a goal to his credit last season.
 
His season-long loan deal has an option of buying around a transfer fee of eight million euros.
 
Adjapong born to Ghanaian parents in Modena is still eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the Italy U19 and U21 sides.
