Thomas Partey: I'm happy with my performance against Real Madrid

The Ghana international is on cloud nine with his performance against Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday evening.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Teye Partey says he is much elated with an explosive output on his 100th La Liga appearance for the club against their city rivals.
Real Madrid held the Los Colchoneros to a 0-0 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
The 26-year-old displayed a five-star performance, recording a 95% passing accuracy from 38 out of 40 total passes in the first half alone.
He had a 100% duel success rate in the opening period, winning four out of four, and also made four recoveries.
“It’s a useful point, but we did all we could to earn the win," Partey told his club's official website.
''The team’s work was phenomenal. I’m happy with my performance, but I’m more interested in the team’s good work,”
He made a total of 79 passes in the entire 90 minutes he played, and also made four dribbles, which was more than any player from either team on the pitch.

The Black Stars midfielder was voted the Man of the Match award by Atletico Madrid fans after the game.
Partey has made seven appearances for Atletico Madrid so far this season, scoring one goal.
