BREAKING: Mubarak Wakaso ruled out of Ghana's 2019 AFCON Qualifiers

The Spain-based midfielder is out of Ghana's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations double header this month.

Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso has been ruled of the games due to injury and expected to undergo a mandatory surgery on Tuesday.
The Deportivo Alaves combative midfielder has sustained a fracture which has ruled him of the games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe on November 14th and 18th respectively.
His club official statement reads "Wakaso Mubarak suffers a fracture in the metacarpus of his right hand as reported by IMQ, official insurer of the Baskonia Alavés Group. 
"The Ghanaian player will undergo a microsurgery tomorrow and is expected to return to training throughout this week. 
"From the Club will be informed of its evolution on a daily basis"
Wakaso was named in the 23-man squad invited by Coach Kwesi Appiah for the double header this month.
