Lawrence Ati-Zigi leaves FC Sochaux

The former Ghana U20 shot-stopper has left the French second-tier club, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

French Ligue 2 club FC Sochaux have announced the departure of Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi after two-and-half year stay.
 
The 23-year-old joined FC Sochaux from Austrian top-flight club Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2017.
 
The club's official statement reads "Lawrence Ati Zigi, who was linked to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard until next June, will be transferred to FC St. Gallen subject to meeting the usual medical examination. 
 
"He will find in Switzerland Peter Zeidler, who had been at the origin of his recruitment by the FCSM."
 
"The club wishes the best to Lawrence Ati Zigi for the rest of his career and will very quickly announce the identity of his replacement"
 
He made 30 appearances for FC Sochaux during his stay at the club.
 
Ati Zigi has been a member of the senior national team of Ghana since 2017.
