Black Meteors Deputy Coach Michael Osei In Germany For Coaching Attachment

Ghana U-23 deputy coach Michael Osei, is in Germany to begin a two-week coaching attachment with Mainz 05 and Hoffenhiem.

The former Kotoko coach is looking to use the opportunity to refresh his technical knowledge on the modern trends of the game in the country where he  spent most of his career.
 
He left the country on Thursday night and is expected to return on 30th April, 2019 to continue his work with the Male U-23 team Black Meteors.
 
The Black Meteors team will face Algeria in the final phase of U-23 Cup of Nations to be hosted by Egypt in the month of November.
 
The Africa U-23 Cup of Nations will serve as qualifiers for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan with the top three teams set to secure tickets for the world championship.
 
Ghana have not qualified for the U-23 Afcon since the tournament's inception in 2011.
 
For the Olympic Games, the Black Meteors have been absent since a first-round berth at the 2004 gathering in Athens, Greece.
