2019 WAFU Cup: Majestic Augustine Okrah wins man of the match as Ghana whip Burkina Faso

The Asante Kotoko forward was named for the man of the match award in the Black Stars 'B' victory over Burkina Faso in the quarter-final stage of the 2019 WAFU Cup.

Ghanaian winger Augustine Okrah was voted the best player in Ghana's win over the Stallions of Burkina Faso at the ongoing WAFU tournament in Senegal.

A 38th minute header from Shafiu Mumini helped Coach Maxwell Konadu's side to cancel out an early goal scored by Ilias Tiendrebeogo.

Ghana managed to whip their neighbouring country 5-4 on penalty shootouts to make it to the semis of the tournament.

The 26-year-old impressed in his first match at the ongoing tournament after watching the team's first match against Gambia from the bench.

Okrah joined Asante Kotoko on a free transfer few months ago.
