CONFIRMED: Black Stars 'B' to receive 2019 WAFU Cup monies today

The 2019 WAFU Cup squad have been handed a positive news with the unpaid monies to be settled today, according to the Ghana FA Spokesperson.
Communication director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante has confirmed that the Black Stars 'B' will receive their package including winning bonuses for winning silver medal at the last edition of the WAFU Cup.
The Black Stars 'B' failed to defend the 2019 WAFU Cup title after losing the final on penalty shootouts at the tournament staged in Senegal last year.
"The good news is that, Coach Maxwell Konadu came to the GFA for a discussion yesterday," Asante told Fox FM
"With the help of coach Maxwell Konadu and Team Manager Edmund Ackah, all stakeholders and everyone involved in the team that represented Ghana at the WAFU Tournament last year in Senegal will receive whatever package they are due later today."
"If you would remember, after our return from Senegal, two players were dropped due to injury and were replaced by Emmanuel Ocran and Diawisie Taylor before we left for Burkina Faso.
"Coach Maxwell Konadu suggested we should include those two players, even though they weren't part of the squad who represented Ghana at the WAFU Tournament in Senegal."
