PREVIEW: Asante Kotoko SC vs Inter Allies - Kotoko faces boggy side in a tricky encounter

Asante Kotoko SC will honour their first home game of the season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Inter Allies in a scary fixture for both side which has rarely produced goals.
Asante Kotoko SC defied all odds to pick up a point at Sogakope last weekend against West African Football Academy, WAFA after losing three previous games against the academy boys and will be well geared to have it a blast into the season with a victory against the "Eleven Is To Do" side this afternoon in Kumasi.
The coming in of Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabien after the exit of Steve Polack as the head coach has brought some light in the team's potency with flurry of goals as the team has scored more than twenty goals since taking over including friendly games which was lacking prior to his coming and playing a side that is difficult to beat, it will be received as an assurance of massive victory against Inter Allies this afternoon.
Asante Kotoko SC struggled to even snatch a point against Inter Allies last season at the same venue, with Zdravko Lugarusic then at the helms of affairs for Kotoko in a goalless draw game, and will be looking forward to earning a unison victory against a seemingly difficult side.
Asante Kotoko SC will be boosted by the availability of Frederick Boateng who was absent in their first legue game because of technical reasons. Felix Annan and Wahab Adams have been medically declared fit for this afternoon's encounter and should be a genuine reasons to snatch victory against Inter Allies.
Asante Kotoko SC assistant coach Akakpo Patron played against his former side last weekend and was instrumental for Kotoko picking up a points against WAFA and it will be the turn of Paa Kwesi Fabien to also aid his side to win massively against his former side this afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Coming to Kumasi to play Asante Kotoko should not be an herculean task for Inter Allies per their history and record they've chalked against Asante Kotoko and will be  boosted by their emphatic victory against Bechem United in the season opener at the Tema Astro-turf park last weekend by 3-0.
Kenichi Yatshuashi, who has depth of knowledge in the local game, particularly playing against Asante Kotoko, manning and controlling affairs at the technical bench for Inter Allies should be an added advantage for Inter Allies to reminisce what they achieved last season in this encounter.
This game should lack goals as it has previously witnessed in this encounter but with what both sides have showed in the build up to this game, at least two or more goals should be recorded this afternoon in Kumasi.
