Coach Kjetil Zachariassen is eager to record a resounding home victory over Kano Pillars to propel his side to the next round of the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.

Asante Kotoko are hoping for an overturn of the defeat they suffered two weeks ago in the first leg tie at the Saani Abaacha Sports Stadium in Kano.

Kano Pillars head coach, Ibrahim Musa has fired a strong warning to Porcupine Warriors and also adamant of playing attacking football to earn a positive result.
“We will attack because I am a coach who favours attacking football. You invite a lot of pressure on your goal if you resort to playing defensive and so we will take the game to Kotoko" Coach Musa told ScoreNigeria in an interview.
Asante Kotoko are aiming of a qualification to the next round of the competition to keep their group stages hopes alive after an impressive campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.

Also, Burkina Faso striker Songne Yacouba and Maxwell Baakoh have been ruled out of the game despite passing late fitness test from the medical team on Friday.
