Don Bortey Given Three Days to Apologize and Confess his crime in Israel or be stripped naked

Ex-Black Stars defender John Paintsil has given Don Bortey up three days to apologize for the defamatory statements made against him or face consequences.

The 37-year-old has also warned Bortey to confess to the world the actual crime he committed in Israel that led to his inability to secure a contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Bortey's trial with the Israeli side ended after he was accused of theft and deported back to Ghana at a time when his career was peaking.

"He came to Israel and I took him as a brother but 15 years after that, he still goes about destroying my image. He knows what he came to do in Israel that led to his stay being terminated by the club," Paintsil told Saddick Adams Sports Obama on Atinka TV Sports Court

"I give him up to Monday to come out and tell Ghanaians exactly the crime he committed or I will be forced to come and and show to the world what he did backed by evidence. It was not about a watch he stole."

"There is a damning secret that I have decided to keep for the sake of his integrity as a Ghanaian but if he has decided to blame me, I will spit it out if he doesn't apologize by Monday 4th March"

The former Hearts of Oak winger 'Don' Bortey has alleged John Paintsil killed his career after framing him for theft 15-years ago.

Bortey claims the controversy-infested former Ghana defender falsely accused him of stealing a watch when he was on trail at Meccabi Tel Aviv in Israel in 2004.
