Ghanaian kid Tariq Lamptey excels on Chelsea debut against Arsenal

English-born of Ghanaian descent Tariq Lamptey marked his senior debut for Chelsea in their victory over Arsenal in the English Premier League.

The 19-year-old featured for the first time for the senior side of the Blues in the London derby on Sunday.
Chelsea inflicted a 2-1 home defeat on Arsenal at the Emirate Stadium.
Lamptey was introduced to replace Fikayo Timori on the 59th minute of the game.
He marshalled the flanks for the visitors which resulted their match-winner via Tammy Abraham.
The talented right-back joined the Chelsea youth at age 7 and got promotion to their U23 side last year.
He is a diminutive, fast and tenacious player who can operate in any defensive or attacking role on the right side.
He has made ten appearances for the Chelsea U23 team with a goal to his credit.
Lamptey is eligible to play for Ghana in future despite representing England at the U18, U19 and U20 level.
He was born to Ghanaian parents in London.
