Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has emphasized the strong will and resolve to maintain his spot in the team as he gets ready for the coming Unity Cup, which is a four nation tournament in the United Kingdom.
Ghana Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo says Felix Afena-Gyan will have to show what he's capable of again at the Unity Cup in London to keep his place in the squad, as he tries to establish an identity for the senior national team.
Sunderland midfielder Abdul Samed Salis, Juventus Next Gen forward Felix Afena Gyan, Majeed Ashimeru of Anderlecht, Kwame Opoku of Asante Kotoko, and Switzerland-based Stephan Ambrosius are making a return to the Black Stars after being named in Otto Addo's squad for the Unity Cup in London.
The medical team of the Black Stars have announced that Mohammed Kudus, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, Elisha Owusu, and Antoine Semenyo are unavailable for the 2025 Unity Cup due to minor injuries.
Meanwhile, England-based duo Thomas Partey and Michael Baidoo have been given a break by head coach Otto Addo.
