The Black Stars have touched down safely in Angola's capital, Luanda on the early hours of today ahead of their all important fixture against the Palancas Negras next week.

Ghana nipped on Antoine Semenyo's late goal to stun Angola by 1-0 in Kumasi, in the first leg of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The victory has moved the four time African champions three points clear at the top of Group E with the Angolans being levelled up by Central African Republic on the same points and will have to win at all cost to keep the chase on.

Coach Chris Hughton and his charges left the city of Kumasi to the capital, Accra last Saturday, en route to the South part of the continent.

Thankfully, they have arrived safely hoping to adapt quickly to everything in Luanda before the game on Monday.

The Black Stars are without skipper Andre Ayew, reliable center-backs Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salisu so as Belgian-based Denis Odoi, all due to injuries.

The return encounter is slated for Monday, March 27, at 16:00GMT
