Accra Hearts of Oak striker Yassan Ouatching has been named in the final 26-man squad list of Central African Republic for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Madagascar this month.
Ouatching, who is yet to register a goal for Hearts of Oak since his arrival at the club, was included in squad list released by Coach Savoy Raoul on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old arrived at the Phobians on a free transfer in July 2022 and has failed to live up to expectations under two coaches — Samuel Boadu and Slavko Matic — in his maiden season.
He has made eleven appearances — 351 minutes — for Hearts of Oak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The Wild Beasts of Central African Republic will be traveling to Antananarivo to face Madagascar in the first leg tie of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday, March 23 before hosting Madagascar on March 27 at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.
Central African Republic are lying third place in the Group E of the qualification round with Ghana on top of table with 4 points, alongside Angola who follow suit with same points.
