The Confederation of African Football have announced the final nominees for the 2023 CAF awards which will be held next week in Morocco.

Winners of each category are decided through voting, from a panel consisting of CAF Technical Committee members, media professionals from Member Associations, head coaches and captains of member associations and clubs involved in the group stages of the Inter-club competitions.

Astonishingly, Ghana has only one nomination the provisional list was trimmed down to the final one, as Ampem Darkoa Ladies defender Comfort Yeboah makes the Women's Young Player of the Year list.

She will battle for the crown against Nigeria's Deborah Abiodun and Nesryne El Chad of Morocco.

However, the ultimate award tonight will be Men's Best Player of the Year, which will be contested by Nigeria and SSC Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, former winner Mohammed Salah and Morocco's Achraf Hakimi.
