Ghana's Jerry Afriyie has emerged as the goal-king of the just-ended 2024 WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship held in Togo. 

The Thoughts FC forward had a very descent tournament having netted five goals and was by far Ghana's best performer at the competition

He struck twice against Benin in the opening game and added his three goals subsequently against hosts Togo, Cote D'Ivoire in the semi final before wrapping up with another in the final against eventual champions Nigeria.

Jerry, has been outstanding and one that will be remembered with his stellar spell since breaking into the Ghana U-20 having netted thrice also in the 13th African Games held in March this year including the winning goal against Uganda in the final to help the team seal gold. 

The Black Satellites after finishing as runners up of the competition have now qualified to the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations alongside champions Nigeria.
