Ghana's home-based national team earlier this afternoon defeated their counterparts from Togo at the Stade de Kégué by 2-0 in an international friendly ahead of their double header against neighbors Nigeria in the 2025 CHAN qualifiers.

The two-time CHAN finalists made a very explosive start to the game and snatched the lead in just three minutes from kickoff through Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah.
The Galaxies doubled their lead later in the game through skipper Yakubu Issah and preserved it until full time.
They left Ghana for Lome, ahead of their international friendly against Togo before the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria.
