The senior national team of Madagascar have arrived in the city of Kumasi for the opening game of Group I in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Friday evening.
The Madagascar's contingent comprising of players, technical and management members touched down on Wednesday for the crucial qualifiers against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The team engaged in a training session and they have have scheduled to train at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday evening before the Black Stars hold their final training at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Coach Chris Hughton and his charges have been in Kumasi since Tuesday, preparing for the all-important fixture scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The last meeting of the two nations ended in a draw after the Black Stars had beaten Madagascar 3-0 in the first leg tie of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
