Botswana aims to rebound from their recent defeat as they face Guinea in a crucial Group G World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday.

Botswana, yet to make a World Cup appearance in their history, suffered a setback with a 3-2 loss to Mozambique in their previous match. Head coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa and his team recognize the importance of securing a positive result against Guinea to stay in contention for the top two spots in Group G.

Guinea, starting their campaign with a late 94th-minute winner against Uganda, seeks to continue their winning momentum. Despite missing captain Naby Keita due to injury, Guinea will rely on the Bundesliga's in-form striker, Serhou Guirassy, who may start after recovering from a recent hamstring issue.

Both teams face a crucial test, and potential lineup changes could be on the horizon for Botswana, with Molaodi Tlhalefang and Mogakolodi Ngele likely to play key roles. Guinea, led by coach Gomes, may tweak their lineup, possibly starting Guirassy alongside other key players like Camara and Bayo.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 13:00 GMT (1:00PM)
