Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has outlined the team's objective ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic (CAR).

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team will face Mali in Bamako on June 6 and CAR on June 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Addressing the media after a training session, Semenyo reflected on his productive season with AFC Bournemouth before discussing the upcoming qualifiers.

“We are ready to take the challenge, we are ready to get two wins. I think we got a good team. We just need to win at the end of the day, so we are going to train hard this week and win the first game and hopefully the second.”

Ghana ranks fourth in the six-team Group I standings with three points, after losing 1-0 to Comoros and beating Madagascar. The Black Stars are striving to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the fifth time.
