Stade Rennais defender Alidu Seidu registered his first-ever goal for the Black Stars of Ghana against Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
Seidu brilliantly opened the scoring for Ghana in the match-day two of the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in Morocco.
The 24-year-old registered his name on the score sheet on the stroke of halftime with a superb strike courtesy a pass from Mohammed Kudus to hand Otto Addo's side the deserving lead before the break.
Since making his debut for Ghana against Japan in an international friendly in 2022, he has capped 16 times for the West African nation.
Seidu, who joined Stade Rennais from Clermont Foot in January for €11 million, has made three appearances for Rennes in the French Ligue 1 this season so far.
