Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew was on the scoresheet for Le Havre who suffered a 3-1 loss at Strasbourg on Wednesday evening to exit the Coupe de France.
The Navy Blues heading into this encounter were very desperate for a win to cruise into the last eight but their journey has been halted.
Dilane Bakwa opened the scoring account on the 21st minute for the host before Andre Ayew levelled things up nine minutes later.
But two subsequent goals from Emmanuel Emegha and Marvin Senaya sealed the win for Strasbourg.
The 34-year-old since joining Le Havre has now scored three goals in seven matches in all competitions and will hope to better his numbers going forward.
Le Havre will host Stade Rennais at the Stade Oceane on Sunday, February 11, in the next round of matches in the French Ligue 1.
