Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan was pleased with the manner in which the Black Stars bounced back and secured victory over the Central African Republic.

Gyan, however, paid a personal tribute to the performance of star player - Mohammed Kudus following the Black Stars triumph, stating that the West Ham player is the current engine of the team.

"I loved how Kudus played. He was more composed and released the balls at the right time. For me, he is the Star man in this Black Stars team at the moment. More room for improvement," Gyan jolted on X.

Kudus equalised for the hosts with a heart-wrenching freekick with just two minutes to end the first half, before Nuamah's stunning effort crashed into the net to secure all three points for Chris Hughton's side as they qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
