Hugo Broos has stressed that he is not going to allow their win over Namibia distract him from reality, knowing very well that the job is not done yet.

South Africa seized control of their destiny on Sunday night as they smashed four past Namibia in their second AFCON Group E match.

A draw against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Wednesday should be sufficient for Bafana Bafana, but a win would secure them a top-two finish and automatic progression to the last 16.

Considering the tournament's format, where four third-best placed finishers also advance to the knockout stage, accumulating four points might be adequate to secure a spot among that quartet.

However, Broos says; "It was a good win [against Namibia] and important for the goal difference and now we have a boost of confidence ahead of the game on Wednesday against a very strong opponent. An opponent who has to win that game to stay in Ivory Coast.

"We will prepare the team very well for Tunisia. Let's hope we are ready," he added.
