Ghanaian winger Bernard Benjamin Boateng continued his impressive performance for Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egypt Premier League with a goal against El Makasa on Saturday evening.
Boateng propelled Al Ittihad Alexandria to their sixth victory of the 2021/22 season against El Makasa in their match-week 22 game at the Alexandria Stadium.
He registered his name on the score sheet with a powerful header on the 3rd minute which eventually became the only goal recorded in the fixture.
The 21-year-old lanky striker, who missed Al Ittihad Alexandria Club first three games due to injury, has now scored five goals and provided two assists in 22 matches in all competitions in his debut season.
He was in action with his compatriot Moro Salifu who also bossed the midfield for Al Ittihad Alexandria Club, ensuring them of all the needed points.
Boateng joined Al Ittihad Alexandria Club on a three-year deal from Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks after the end of the 2020/21 season for an undisclosed fee.
