Kim Lars Björkegren, head coach of the Black Queens has stated positively that they will go all out to snatch a win in their international friendly match against Morocco on Friday, February 21.
Ghana's women's senior national team will face The Atlas Lionesses - who will be hosting the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, in Casablanca, marking a baptism of being welcomed for the newly appointed Björkegren.
"Morocco is a good team with a lot of talent. Playing away from home will be a challenge, especially with our new coaching staff and players," the Swedish tactician said at his pre-match press conference.
"But we're focused on building for the long term, learning from our mistakes, and preparing for the summer tournament. We'll work hard to win, but we're also looking at the bigger picture."
The match has been slated to come off at 15:00 GMT at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca. Ghana will face AS FAR Rabat on Monday in another exciting match.
