The National Sports Authority (NSA) has confirmed a change of venue for the Black Queens’ second-leg Olympic qualifier against Mauritius.
The match, scheduled for October 13, was initially expected to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, the NSA has now announced that the fixture will instead take place at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi, in the Western Region.
The change means the Black Queens will no longer host Mauritius in Accra as originally planned, with Essipong set to stage the crucial second-leg encounter.
The venue switch comes as the Black Queens prepare for the two-legged Olympic qualifying tie, with Ghana looking to secure progress to the next stage.
The team will now turn their attention to preparations for the game as they continue their bid to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games.
