The former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association has urged Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, to do anything possible to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), despite recent setbacks.
Ghana will travel to Angola to face the Palancas Negras on November 15 at Estádio 11 de Novembro at 19:00 GMT. The Black Stars will play host to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18, kick-off at 16:00 GMT.
As Ghanaians await the announcement of the squad by Otto Addo for the upcoming games, Sannie Daara has Squashed out calls for local players to be handed call-ups for the crucial hurdles.
"We have to do anything possible to ensure that we qualify for the AFCON, so we have to invite the best players because we are still in the race for qualification," Daara told Asempa FM.
"We have won against Mali in the World Cup qualifiers, so it's still possible we can go and win at Angola and beat Niger as well.
"We have the players and talent to do it," he confidently added.
After succumbing to a defeat against Angola and drawing with Niger in their initial Group F matches, Addo’s men were hoping for victories against Sudan.
However, the Black Stars settled for a goalless draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium before losing 2-0 in the return leg held in Libya.
Ghana currently sit third position in Group F with their ticket to the continental showpiece hanging by a thread.
