The Borussia-Park campaigners are reportedly tracking the 19-year-old sensational teenager of Gambian descent in an effort to land his signature from the Swiss elite club in the summer 

Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach are eyeing Spanish-born Gambian teenage forward Omar Janneh from Swiss Super League outfit Lausanne-Sport, a report from the Swiss media has claimed.

The promising attacking forward, who linked up with the Blue and White from La Liga giants Atlético Madrid during the January transfer window, has been superb in his maiden outings in the Swiss top-flight so far this season.

According to a report from Swiss tabloid Newspaper BLICK, the German elite division club are among a host of European suitors that have lined up for the services of the Gambia-prospect striker ahead of the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The report further stated that European suitors including, SS Lazio, Udinese Calcio, Sporting Lisbon, Getafe and several French Ligue 1 clubs are all gunning for the signature of the former Atlético Madrid U18 star for the 2026-27 campaign.

With his explosive performances in this current campaign, those vying for his services must be readying themselves to cough up a fee around €8-11 million before they can secure him from his parent club this summer given his existing contract which is set to expire on June 30, 2030.

Janneh has so far taken in 32 appearances by netting 12 times and setting up another 4 for Lausanne-Sport across all competitions in this ongoing football season.

Given his Gambian lineage, the Lleida-born native remains fit to switch nationality and play for the Gambian national football team on the international stage after featuring for the Spain U17, U18 & U19 national youth teams.
