Henry Asante Twum, the Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has thrown his full support behind CAF Confederations Cup semi-finalists Dreams FC as they brace themselves for a monumental showdown against Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek FC.

Twum's endorsement comes at a crucial juncture as Dreams FC gear up for their historic encounter against Zamalek, following their remarkable journey in the competition thus far.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Twum reiterated the FA's unwavering backing for Dreams FC, citing their impressive performance throughout the tournament. He applauded Dreams FC's commendable display, which has captured the hearts of football enthusiasts nationwide and instilled confidence in their ability to take on the challenge posed by Zamalek.

"Dreams FC has made us proud, and the FA will support them as they face Zamalek in order to reach the finals; what they have done so far indicates that they can do it this time," Twum stated, reflecting the FA's confidence in Dreams FC's capabilities.

Dreams FC's remarkable journey to the semi-finals in their debut season has exceeded all expectations, notably overcoming Stade Malien with a 3-2 aggregate victory.

Despite the formidable reputation of Zamalek, a club with a rich continental history boasting numerous titles, Dreams FC remains undaunted.

Zamalek's illustrious track record, including five CAF Champions League titles, one Confederation Cup title, and four CAF Super Cup titles, underscores the enormity of the challenge facing Dreams FC.

Nevertheless, buoyed by their unexpected success throughout the competition, Dreams FC is determined to prolong their unprecedented run and etch their name in African football history.
